Welcome To The World, Penelope {Best Birthday Ever}

If you follow me on FB or Instagram, you already know our good news.

On July 5th, at 8:14 in the morning, which also happened to be my 28th Birthday, we welcomed our beautiful daughter, Penelope Mae, into the world.

It was a beautiful, peaceful birth and since then we have been happily holed up in the hospital, and now at home, soaking in the precious newborn moments.

Birth story, hospital photos, newborn photos, all those good things will come in due time...but for now I'm cuddling my tiny girl and loving on my new family of four.

Our Day At The Fair {I Swear The Kids Had Fun}

Well, the fair still holds up its reputation in my book as being completely disgusting.  It's dirty, it's crowded, it's hot and the food all makes me want to barf.  Except the cinnamon rolls.  But, I knew the boys would enjoy the trip, so we met up with Ry and Kindy and Eli to take them, despite the nastiness.  Also, I really wanted that giant cinnamon roll, so that might have motivated my eagerness.

On to the pictures....

You may notice in a few of these that the boys do not look particularly happy to be on the rides.  It's total crap, because I even sorted through hundreds of pics looking for "happier" shots...but they didn't exist.  I SWEAR they had fun and were asking to go on the rides, seriously.

You'll see what I mean...

Okay, we started off happy on the Merry-Go-Round...

Holding hands on this super sketchy car ride...

Not really loving it...

Hair blowin' in the breeze, regardless...

I'm telling O to put his hands up...

Some more unamused looks on the circus train ride...I SWEAR they wanted to go on this...

Now we're just ambivalent...

Onto the motorcycle ride...still don't care...

In fact, we're apparently BORED and decide to fall ASLEEP on the ride...

ARE YOU KIDDING ME, OLIVER LIAM??? This ride cost like $5, wake UP and enjoy yourself!!!!!

Nothing like a little stop at Farrell's to wake a 2 year old up, I guess.

Ahh, another trip to the dirty, nasty fair for the record books!
